Portable Pop-Up Public Fountain
Every Wednesday for a period of 6 weeks I will fill the Fountain with water from my backyard and take it with me on the bus into Forrest Place. At 8am I will stand in front of James Angus’ Grow Your Own (2011) and turn on the tap that connects my Neta Nimbus Triple Arm Circle Sprinkler to its water sourse. For 5 minutes water will rise through the Neta Nimbus twisting and spinning in a circular vortex, a lattice of droplets cascading onto the pavement of Forrest Place. When all the water has been drained from the fountain I will continue with my day.
